Athena Leadership: Leader of Tomorrow
  • Awarded to a young womyn who exemplifies the values of empowerment, integrity and philanthropy
  • Experience of community involvement, leadership, and commitment to professional development and career path
Canadian Federation of University Women: Fellowships and Awards Program
  • Affirmative action program with various awards and fellowships for womyn who produce work in a variety of academic areas
Congress of Black Women of Manitoba Inc. Awards
  • Scholarships to female Black students who are pursuing post-secondary education
  • Eligible to previous Congress volunteers
Forktip Women’s Innovation Scholarship
  • Scholarship of $2,000 awarded to two female students
Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Foundation Post Secondary Education Award
  • Provides financial assistance to an Indigenous person residing in Manitoba and enrolled in post-secondary studies
Mayor Andree P. Boucher Memorial Scholarship
  • $4,500 scholarship awarded to a female student deemed to have submitted the best research paper on a topic related to women in politics
Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award
  • Awarded to womyn who provide the primary source of financial support for their families
  • One scholarship of $1,500, one for $1,200, and one for $1,000
Start Proud
  • Several awards offered to Canadians in the LGBTQA+ community
YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Awards
  • This award recognizes a woman’s outstanding achievements in the expression, performance, development, preservation or patronage of the visual, literary, performing or creative arts
Manitoba’s Women’s Institute
  • Two $750 scholarships awarded to rural applicants taking a Manitoba recognized academic or vocational course
Enid and Oscar Marantz Bursary
  • Financial support of $600 for a single parent in the Faculty of Arts who demonstrates financial need with good academic standing
Albright & Bruning Family Bursary
  • Financial support for a full-time student in any year of study who has achieved good academic standing and is a custodial parent with one or more dependents and has demonstrated financial need
John Allegro Bursary for Mature Students
  • Full-time undergraduate student granted admission as a mature student
  • Bursary of $875
