Scholarships for International Students

Government of Canada International Scholarships
  • Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) provides support to international scholars in Canada, which is often reciprocated by foreign governments which support Canadian scholars in their countries
International Undergraduate Student Scholarships
  • Established to reward excellence in scholastic achievement by international students at The University of Manitoba.
  • $70,000 is available yearly, divided equally among all eligible students
Nurture for Nature Scholarship
  • Created to raise awareness about protecting animals and the environment
  • Open to all students from overseas who are currently attending college in Canada and the U.S.
University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships
  • All students regardless of citizenship are eligible to apply
  • Students with a minimum GPA of 3.75 in each of the last two years of study at a recognized university based on a Bachelor, Master’s, Graduate Diploma, or Doctoral Degree

  • Open to international students on a student visa (permit must be for one year or longer)
